You would’ve been served Courvoisier Cognac under the Eiffel Tower, the official cognac of Paris since the Napoleon empire. This cognac with as much history as flavor is a complete experience for the senses from the moment you open the bottle to when you take the first sip on your lips.
The “cru” is specially prepared with specific and legally required grape varieties and after being harvested at peak during the summer it is double distilled using a special method for cognac production. Cognac is later aged in French oak barrels for at least 2 years. Following this tradition passionately assures a Cognac worthy of being recognized as the Toast of Paris, even more than 200 years since it’s conception. Vive la France!
A cognac for all your senses
Appearance: Deep amber color.
Nose: Young, fruity and distilled with the essence of the airs of Paris.
Ripe fruits: Ripened fruits give it a fruity, sweet taste.
Spring Flowers: You’ll smell a fresh bouquet of spring flowers as soon as you bring Courvoisier to your nose.
Fresh Oakiness: The smell of fresh oak is controlled as this cognac is aged, as to not overpower and spoil this prized French Cognac.
Body: A dry light-to-medium.
Alcohol by Volume (ABV): 40%
Courvoisier Smash Cocktail
2 oz Courvoisier VS Cognac
.5 oz Mint syrup
Half Lemon, cut into quarter
6 Mint leaves
Muddle the mint and lemon in a highball glass, then fill with ice. Add the cognac and mint syrup. Stir, and garnish with a mint sprig.
1 ½ parts Courvoisier VS
½ part passion fruit puree
¼ part lime juice; ginger beer
3-4 fresh raspberries.
Build in cocktail shaker shake with ice and strain into large coupe glass; top with ginger beer; garnish with raspberries.
